Privacy Policy.
What we collect, what it is for, how long we keep it, how to have it deleted.
This page is all of it. There is no longer version somewhere else.

What we collect
Your email address. You type it into the box on the home page. That is the only field — no name, no phone number, no company.
Server logs. The web server (Caddy) records the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser string for every visit. That is what a web server does by default.
Nothing else. No third-party analytics script, no ad tracker, and no cookie that identifies you.
What it is for
The email address is used for two messages: one when the product ships, one when pre-orders open. Nothing else, and no newsletter.
Logs are used to fix problems and count visits — which page broke, how many people came that day. They are never turned into a profile of you.
How long we keep it
Email: deleted the moment you unsubscribe. Otherwise deleted 12 months after the product ships.
Logs: 90 days, then cleared automatically.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your email address to anyone.
We do not use it for advertising, and we do not hand it to an ad platform as an audience.
We do not embed third-party analytics, and we do not track you across sites.
Voice data and transfer abroad
SUDO Desk transcribes speech. What you say while holding the main key is uploaded to a third-party provider, turned into text, and sent back to your own computer. The audio does not pass through our servers and we keep no copy.
Those servers are currently outside mainland China, in Seoul, South Korea. By using the voice feature in SUDO Desk you consent to your voice data being transferred abroad for processing.
Once a mainland node is live, voice from users in mainland China will be handled there instead. This page will be updated and the effective date at the top will change with it.
If you would rather your voice never left the country, skip that stage: a light press on the main key is speech, pushing through is approval, and the two are independent. Use approval only and no voice data is created at all.
How to have it deleted
Email hello@goyoungstudio.com with the address you want removed. We delete it within 7 days and write back to confirm.

This page will change
The product is still being built, and the services and servers behind it will move. When this page changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. For anything material — voice leaving the country, above all — we write to everyone on the list.
