Privacy Policy.
What we collect, what it is for, how long we keep it, how to have it deleted.
This page covers the website. Accounts, device activation and voice services are also covered by the notice shown during registration.

What we collect
Your email address. You type it into the box on the home page. That is the only field — no name, no phone number, no company.
Server logs. The web server (Caddy) records the IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser string for every visit. That is what a web server does by default.
SUDO Desk also processes account information, device identity and activation, plan allowances and usage records. See the service privacy notice shown during registration.
What it is for
Website subscription emails are used only for two notices: product launch and pre-orders, one each. They are not used for regular newsletters or other promotions.
Logs are used to fix problems and count visits — which page broke, how many people came that day. They are never turned into a profile of you.
How long we keep it
Email: deleted the moment you unsubscribe. Otherwise deleted 12 months after the product ships.
Logs: 90 days, then cleared automatically.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your email address to anyone.
We do not use it for advertising, and we do not hand it to an ad platform as an audience.
We do not embed third-party analytics, and we do not track you across sites.
Voice, service authorization and local recordings
Tap to start recording and tap again to stop. In the current default cloud mode, SUDO Desk sends audio directly to Alibaba Cloud speech services. When polishing is enabled, the transcript is sent directly to the polishing service.
Studio services in Seoul handle account authorization, device activation and allowance accounting. Direct-voice usage reports contain duration, byte and character counts, model usage and service request identifiers, not audio payloads or transcript text.
Recordings may be retained on your computer so failed transcriptions can be retried, opened or deleted. With a custom service, audio and text are sent to your configured provider.
Approval by itself does not record audio when voice recording is not active. Processing locations and retention rules are described in the service and provider privacy notices.
How to have it deleted
Email hello@goyoungstudio.com with the address you want removed. We delete it within 7 days and write back to confirm.

This page will change
The product is still being built, and the services and servers behind it will move. When this page changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. For anything material — voice leaving the country, above all — we write to everyone on the list.
